Save Recipes from Instagram and Reddit

A lot of the best recipes don’t live on recipe sites. They’re in a reel you saved six months ago or a Reddit thread with 4,000 upvotes. Hearth can now import both.
Paste a reel or post link and Hearth looks for the recipe in this order:
- The caption. Most food creators put the full recipe there.
- The page the caption links to. For “comment RECIPE and I’ll send it to you” posts, the caption usually has the creator’s blog link. Hearth opens that page and imports the real recipe with exact amounts.
- The voiceover. If neither has the recipe, Hearth listens to the video.
If none of those has a real recipe, Hearth says so plainly instead of guessing.
Paste any Reddit post link, including the short links the Reddit app shares. On subreddits like r/food the recipe is often in the poster’s own comment, not the post. Hearth reads both, along with the top comments, and builds the recipe from what’s there.
How to use it
On iPhone, tap Share → Hearth right from Instagram or Reddit. Anywhere else, tap Import on your recipes page and paste the link. The import runs in the background, and the recipe appears in your collection when it’s done.
Works on iPhone, Android, and the web.
